INGREDIENTSOil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Curry leaves, Coriander, Turmeric powder (pasupu), Salt, Onions, Red chilly powder, Dhnaiya powder, Jeera powder, Fish, Tamarind pulp, Tomato, Garam masala, Ginger garlic paste

PREPARATION: 
  • Marinate fish pieces in a bowl by adding ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, lemon juice
  • Mix well , let it be aside for 30 minutes, mean while
  • Place kadai or bowl on flame, heat 2 spoons of oil
  • Add red chillies,avalu, jeera, curry leaves and fry for a while
  • Add cut onions and fry till transparent
  • Add cut tomato, pinch of turmeric powder, salt, red chilly powder, t spn of dhaniya & jeera powder,  and bring to boil
  • When you observe oil floating at the walls of the kadai add tamarind pulp and boil for 5 more minutes
  • Now add the marinated fish pieces in to the kadai and simmer for five minutes or till oil floats
  • Finally dish out and garnish with coriander
  • Goes well with rice, chapathis...
