INGREDIENTS: Oats - 1&1/2 cups, Roasted bombay rava / Semolina - 1 cup, Soar thick curd -2cups, Green chilly paste, Grated carrot, Chopped coriander, Onions, Oil, Cooking soda, Mustard, Cumin, Urad dal, Chenna dal, Roasted Cashews (optional)




PREPARATION:

  • Soak rava in curd for 5 minutes

  • Add oats to it, and keep for another 5 more minutes

  • Heat some oil in a pan

  • Add mustard, cumin, urad dal, chenna dal, onions, green chilly paste and fry for a while

  • Off flame, add salt, mixed rava and oats, coriander, cooking soda and mix well to batter

  • Grease idly bowls

  • Place rated carrot, cashews and pour the batter in them

  • Steam cook for 7 - 10 minutes

  • Serve hot with coconut chutney for sambar...

  • Healthy oats carrot idlies are ready now
