
peanuts, Coriander, Garlic cloves (optional)
PREPARATIONS:
- Place frying pan or kadai on flame
- Heat 2-3 tbl spns of oil
- Add 1 full tbl spn of cumin, 3-4 crushed garlic cloves, curry leaves and fry for a while
- Add slit green chillies and fry
- Add cut potato cubes, salt and cook till alu is soft by closing the lid
- In middle sprinkle little water to the kadai , to avoid burning of alu
- Add 1 tbl spn of sugar, 3 tbl spns of peanut powder and mix well
- Dish out and garnish with coriander
- Serves good with rice, chapathis...
- Can be taken in pasting days when cooked without garlic
- Puneri alu is ready to serve hot
