 INGREDIENTS: Raw Banana, Onion, Green chilly, Salt, Garlic cloves, Avalu (mustard), Jeera (cumin), Ura dal (vudhipappu), Chenna dal (bengal gram), Oil, Curry leaves, Coriander, Fresh coconut, Tamarind
INGREDIENTS: Raw Banana, Onion, Green chilly, Salt, Garlic cloves, Avalu (mustard), Jeera (cumin), Ura dal (vudhipappu), Chenna dal (bengal gram), Oil, Curry leaves, Coriander, Fresh coconut, TamarindPREPARATION:
- Peel the outer layer of banana
- Cut them into cubes
- Place kadai on flame
- Heat 3 spoons of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, urad and chenna dals
- Fry for a while and add curry leaves
- Add crushed garlic cloves, chopped onions and fry
- Add banana cubes, salt and sprinkle little water and close the lid
- Cook in medium flame till soft
- Mean while in a mixy jar add coconut, salt, green chillies, tamarind and make to fine power
- Once banana is soft add the grinded paste and mix well
- Dish out and garnish with coriander
- Goes well with rice and chapathis...
