INGREDIENTS: Raw Banana, Onion, Green chilly, Salt, Garlic cloves, Avalu (mustard), Jeera (cumin), Ura dal (vudhipappu), Chenna dal (bengal gram), Oil, Curry leaves, Coriander, Fresh coconut, Tamarind





PREPARATION:

  • Peel the outer layer of banana

  • Cut them into cubes

  • Place kadai on flame

  • Heat 3 spoons of oil

  • Add avalu, jeera, urad and chenna dals

  • Fry for a while and add curry leaves

  • Add crushed garlic cloves, chopped onions and fry

  • Add banana cubes, salt and sprinkle little water and close the lid

  • Cook in medium flame till soft

  • Mean while in a mixy jar add coconut, salt, green chillies, tamarind and make to fine power

  • Once banana is soft add the grinded paste and mix well

  • Dish out and garnish with coriander

  • Goes well with rice and chapathis...
