INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander,Turmeric powder (pasupu), Salt, Onions, Green chillies, Lemon, Moong dal (pesalu)



PREPARATION:
  • Soak 3 glasses of moong dal for 3 hours or 1 nyt

  • Grind it to fine paste , add required salt and green chilly

  • Steam cook similalrly like idlies in an pressure cooker for 10-12 minutes

  • Take out and cut them into pieces

  • Place frying pan on flame

  • Heat 4-5 spoons of oil in it

  • Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram and wait till they flutter

  • Now add chopped curry leaves, onions, split green chillies, salt, pinch of turmeric and fry well

  • Add cut moong dal idly pieces or cubes and mix well

  • Off flame, Squeeze lemon and mix well

  • Dish out, Garnish with coriander and serve hot..

  • Pesara chiyali is now ready to serve and good for health
