PREPARATION:
- Soak 3 glasses of moong dal for 3 hours or 1 nyt
- Grind it to fine paste , add required salt and green chilly
- Steam cook similalrly like idlies in an pressure cooker for 10-12 minutes
- Take out and cut them into pieces
- Place frying pan on flame
- Heat 4-5 spoons of oil in it
- Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram and wait till they flutter
- Now add chopped curry leaves, onions, split green chillies, salt, pinch of turmeric and fry well
- Add cut moong dal idly pieces or cubes and mix well
- Off flame, Squeeze lemon and mix well
- Dish out, Garnish with coriander and serve hot..
- Pesara chiyali is now ready to serve and good for health
