PREPARATION:
- Take a kadai, heat 3-4 spoons of oil in it, add Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu)Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves and fry
- Now add cut onions, green chilly, garlic pieces, salt, turmeric powder and fry
- Then add tamarind pulp, little water and boil for few minutes
- Add two spoons diluted corn flour or besan flour for thickness and dish out
- Garnish with coriander
- Goes well with rice..
Interested people can add little jaggery (bellam) for taste (sweet ness)
