INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu)Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Green chillies, Onions, Turmeric powder (pasupu)Tamarind pulp, Corn flour, Garlic pieces (vellulipaya/thellagadda)



PREPARATION:

  • Take a kadai, heat 3-4 spoons of oil in it, add Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu)Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves and fry

  • Now add cut onions, green chilly, garlic pieces, salt, turmeric powder and fry

  • Then add tamarind pulp, little water and boil for few minutes

  • Add two spoons diluted corn flour or besan flour for thickness and dish out

  • Garnish with coriander

  • Goes well with rice..

Interested people can add little jaggery (bellam) for taste (sweet ness)
