INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Green chillies, Turmeric powder (pasupu), Salt, Onions, Potatoes, Carrot, Sirotti rava (oliga rava / peni raava)





PREPARATION:

  • Boil potatoes, mash them till soft and keep

  • Take kadai, heat 3-4 spoons of oil, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves and wait till they splitter

  • Now add chopped onions, grated carrot, pinch of turmeric and fry till cooked

  • Give seasoning by adding salt and green chilly paste

  • Add mashed potato and fry well

  • Add some coriander for flavour and mix all the ingredients till cooked

  • Now make small bullets using the prepared mix as many as required

  • Roll them in siroti raava or can be replaces with upma raava (bombay raava)

  • Deep fry in oil till golden brown

  • Take out to an paper plate napkin and drain off excess oil

  • Garnish with onions slices and coriander

  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup...

  • Sprinkle little salt ans pepper on the onion slices for more taste

  • Squeeze lemon juice if interested
