PREPARATION:
- Peel of the ridge guard skin and cut them into cubes
- Place kadai on flame, heat 2 spoons of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, chenna dal and fry
- Add curry leaves, chopped onions, cut green chilly and shallow fry
- Add cut beerakaya pieces, salt, turmeric and saute well
- Close the lid and cook in medium flame till soft
- Finally add pappula podi / legumes powder / gun powder and mix well
- Garnish with coriander and serve
- Tastes good with rice , chapathis..
