INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera  (cumin seeds), Turmeric, Curry leaves, Tamarind pulp, Salt, Drum sticks (munnakaya), Rasam powder, Hing (inguva), Coriander

PREPARATION:
  • Place a bowl on flame
  • Heat 2-3 spoons of oil
  • Add avalu, jeera, curry leaves and wait till they fry
  • Add Water, turmeric, salt, rasam powder, tamarind pulp, cut drum stick pieces and simmer it for 15 - 20 minutes
  • If not till you can small the flavour of drum stick coming out
  • At last add pinch of hing, coriander and dish out
  • Goes well with rice...
  • This can also be pressure cooked for 1 whistle, but there are chances of breaking in drum sticks
