INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhiballu), Bengal gram (chenna dal, senagaballu), Hing (inguva), Curry leaves, Red chillies, Onions, Turmeric, Ginger garlic paste, Beans, Raddish (mullangi), Capsicums (bengaluru mirchi, bell peppers, lavu marapakaya), Salt, Garam masala, Peanut powder (groundnuts powder), Coriander



PREPARATION:

  • Cut beans, capsicums, onions into long pieces

  • Cut raddish semi circular slices

  • Place frying pan on flame

  • Heat 2 tbl spoons of oil

  • Add avalu, jeera, urad and chenna dals

  • Let they splutter , then add curry leaves

  • Add cut onions, red chillies and fry for awhile

  • Add ginger garlic paste, pinch of hing and mix well

  • Add cut raddish, beans, capsicum and mix well

  • Add salt and turmeric, little water and mix

  • Close the lid for 15 minutes till vegetables gets cooked in medium flame

  • Finally add pinch of garam masala, 1 tbl spoon of roasted peanut powder and mix well

  • Dish out and garnish with coriander ...

  • Goes well with rice, chapathis ..

  1. Never thought of combining beand, raddish and capsicum. Curry looks delicious. Will surely give a try.
