INGREDIENTS: Chickpeas (senagalu / white chenna), Potato, Salt, Red chilly powder, Dhaniya powder, Coriander, Bread crumps (or bread peices), Garam masala, Turmeric

PREPARATION:
  • Soak chickpea in water for 8-10 hours or 1 night
  • Pressure cook chenna and skin peeled potatoes for 7-8 whistles till soft (varies from cooker)
  • Cool it and blend it to fine paste
  • Add salt, red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala, chopped coriander, dhaniya powder, bread pieces or bread crumps and mix well into fine dough
  • Make small patties or cutlet like shape using the dough
  • Make such as many as required or till whole dough completes
  • Place tawa or pan of flame
  • Place prepared patties one by one and roast them on both sides using few drops of oil
  • Dish out and serve hot..
  • Goes well with tomato ketchup
