INGREDIENTS: Oil, Jeera (cumin seeds), Avalu (mustard seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Chenna dal (senagapappu), Salt, Green chillies, Okra / bendakaya / ladies finger, Turmeric, Fresh coconut, Coriander, Curry leaves



PREPARATION:

  • Chop ladies finger into pieces

  • Heat frying pan on flame

  • Add 3-4 spoons of oil

  • Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, chenna dal, curry leaves and fry

  • Add cut green chillies and fry

  • Add turmeric, salt, chopped okra and fry till cooked

  • Add a spoon of curd , to avoid the stickyness / gummy nature from okra

  • Finally add chopped coriander, grated coconut and mix well

  • Dish out and serve

  • Tastes good with rice, chapathis..
