PREPARATION:
- Take an pressure cooker
- Heat 2-3 spoons of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, curry leaves, coriander & wait till splitter
- Now add cut onions, green chillies
- Then add turmeric powder, salt, cut tomato and saute it
- Finally add cleaned toor dal, water (1glass dal requires 2 glasses of water)
- Now close the cooker lid and wait for 3-4 whistles
- Once pressure goes off from the cooker, open lid drain of excess water slowly if any
- Finally take out into serving bowl
- Garnsh with coriander
- Serves good with rice, chapathis
