INGREDIENTS: Gobi (cauliflower), Salt, Green chillies, Onions, Tomatoes, Turmeric (pasupu), Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhi ballu), Oil, Jeera powder,Coriander
PREPARATION:
- Remove gobi into small branches / pieces
- Boil them in water for 5 minutes by adding pinch of salt and turmeric
- Drain water completely
- Place frying pan on flame, heat 1 spoon of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, urad dal and fry for a while
- Add chopped onions, green chillies,t spn jeera powder and fry till transparent
- Add tomato, salt, and saute till tomato cooks soft
- Add boiled gobi, pinch of turmeric and fry till dry
- Off flame, garnish with coriander
- Dish out and serve
- Tastes good with rice, chapathis, rotis,...
- If you need as gravy just add little water and cook in medium flame by closing the lid (optional)
