One of the famous, south indian snack, simple and easy to prepare, tastes very delicious, taken after lunch or dinner , even placed in marriage function halls after food (especially hindus vysya communities), But people with gastric problems can avoid taking this type of foods
INGREDIENTS: Puffed rice (borugulu), Oil, Peanuts (chenaga ginjalu / groundnuts), Legumes (pappulu / veri senagullu), Curry leaves, Salt, Red chilly powder, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds)
PREPARATION:
- Place kadai on flame, heat 5 table spoons of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, curry leaves, peanuts, legumes and fry till roasted
- Add salt , red chilly powder and mix well
- Add puffed rice and mix slowly in low flame
- Now the snack is ready to dish out
- Cool it and store in an container
- Stays for 1 month and above
- Addition of deep fried pithiballu, cashews makes snack more delicious
