PREPARATION:
- Peel of ridge guard and cut into pieces
- Place pressure cooker on flame
- Add cut ridge guard pieces, green gram dal, red chillies, milk, garlic cloves and boil for 2 whistles
- Off flame and let it cool
- Now in an kadai, heat 2-3 spoons of oil
- Add avalu, jeera, and wait till they splitter
- Then add the cooled dal mix, salt and saute it for a minute or 2
- Dishout and add coriander for garnishing
- Serves good with rice, chapathis..
