PREPARATION:
- In a bowl, add maida, pinch of cooking soda, baking powder, 3-4 spoons of ghee/dalda, 4-5 spoons of oil
- Mix well the dough using little water roughly
- Keep this aside for 10 minutes
- Now mix well the dough properly again and keep aside for 10 more minutes
- Mean while prepare sugar syrup by adding 1 glass of water for 2 glasses pf sugar
- Boil till the syrup get single thread (thiga pakam)
- Now take the dough sprinkle or dust maida on cleaned flour
- Spread the whole dough into big chapathi like (as big as possible) using chapathi making stick
- Now cut the four corners annd give proper shape to the prepared chapathi
- Place the cutted pieces on big chapathi, dust some maida on it
- Now roll the chapathi slowly without any air / gap inside it
- Then cut them into pieces
- Press those pieces to oval shapes
- Now finally deep fry them in oil slowly in low flame till golden brown
- Take them out and place them directly in to the sugar syrup
- Soak for 2-3 minutes and take out
- Now place them in serving plate
- Juicy juicy kajas are ready to eat now...
