INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Chintakupodi, Cooked rice, Salt, Mango pickle, Ghee


PREPARATION:
  • Take a bowl, add cooked rice into it
  • Now add required amount of chintaku podi, pickle, ghee and mix well
  • Then keep popu / thiruvatha for it
  • In a small spatula heat 2-3 spoons of oil, add avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves and wait till they splitter
  • Add this into the mixed rice
  • Mix well again and serve with raw onions
