INGREDIENTS: Drumsticks, Toor dal, Onions, Oil, Carrot, Tomatoes, Sambar powder, Salt, Red chillys, Jeera, Coriander, Avalu (mustard seeds), Tamarind pulp, Turmeric, Curry leaves, Rasam power


PREPARATION:
  • Clean toor dal and boil it for 3 whistles in cooker and hand blend it once cooled
  • Now heat 3-4 spoons of oil in cooker,
  • Add avalu, jeera, curry leaves, coriander and wait till they splitter
  • Now add red chillies, cut onions, carrot, drum stick and fry for a while
  • Add cut tomatoes, pinch of turmeric, salt, sambar powder, rasam powder and mix well
  • Now add boiled and hand blended toor dal , little water, tamarind pulp into it and mix well
  • Finally close the lid and wait for 2 whistles 
  • Open the cooker once its cooled, then dish out
  • Garnish with coriander and serve
  • Tastes good with rice, chapathis..
All the ingredients can be boiled at a time but toor dal needs 3-4 whistles to boil & drumstick need only 2 whistles if we keep for more than 2 drumstick breaks into layers....
