INGREDIENTS: Ghee, Onions, Green chilly, Salt, Bread, Fresh Green Peas, Ginger Garlic Paste, Water, Basumathi rice, Chat masala, Pepper, Spring onions, Coriander, Dry fruits (cashew, badam, kismiss), Cardamom (elachi), Cinnamon (dalchina chekka), Cloves (lavangam), Garam masala

PREPARATION:
  • Soak 1 glass of basumathi rice in water for 30 minutes
  • Take a kadai, add 4-5 spoons of ghee and heat it (or can use cooker / optional)
  • Add 2 pieces of cardamom, cloves, inch of cinnamon 
  • Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute well
  • Now add fresh green peas, salt and 1 and half glass of water (for 1g rice) and close the lid
  • Once water is heated add chat masala, pepper mix well
  • Drain out water completely from rice, and add plain rice into the kadai
  • Close the lid for 10minutes and keep in low flame (if using cooker, off for 2 whistles)
  • Mean time cut bread slices in to four pieces and fry till golden brown in an pan using ghee / butter / oil
  • Open the lid of kadai add fried bread pieces, pinch of garam masala and mix well
  • Finally add deep fried dry fruits (in ghee, if interested)
  • Garnish with spring onions & Serve
  • Tastes good with any gravy or onion raitha
