INGREDIENTS:
4 cups of sajjalu nuka (millet semolina)
1 cup of fried peanuts powder
Salt for taste
Water, Oil
PREPARATION:
- Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl other than water
- Boil 5 cups of water in another bowl, add pinch of salt and spoon of oil
- When you observe bubbles surrounding the vessel
- Add the mixed above powder slowly into the vessel
- Don't stir
- Let this boil for 2-3 minutes
- Off flame, now mix it properly to make as dough
- Make small patties (cutlet) like rounds using the boiled dough called billakudumulu
- Make such as many as till the dough finishes
- Place tawa on flame, add 2 spoons of oil
- Place the prepared billakudumulu on tawa
- Roast them on both sides in medium flame
- Serve hot, tastes good with Onion tamarind chutney,
