Coconut and kova both are very healthy for children, many childs dsn't eat coconut, but when stuffed in kova definetly many will like to eat and very delicious in taste also...


INGREDIENTS: Fresh kova (sugar or sugar less), Fresh coconut, Sugar, Cashews, Badham, Pista


PREPARATION:

  • Grate 1 cup of fresh coconut or grind it in an mixy jar
  • Now place, kadai on flame
  • Heat 2 spoons of ghee
  • Add grated or grinded fresh coconut (1 cup)
  • Add 1 cup of sugar to the kadai and mix well
  • Add chopped nuts (cashew, badham, pista...)
  • Keep on stirring till you observe sticky consistency 
  • Off flame, cool till you can touch it
  • Now make small balls using the mix (this can be done when the mix is bit hot only..)
  • Place those balls in fridge for 10-15 minutes (to become hard)
  • In the same kadai add 250 gms of fresh kova and melt it for 5 minutes
  • Off flame, cool it till you can touch 
  • If using sugar kova decrease the quantity of sugar to 75% of cup, if its sugar less kova you can go with one cup
  • Now using the kova , make small puri sized rounds or cutlet size patties
  • Place the prepared coconut sugar mix ball in it and cover the kova pattie around it 
  • Just like stuffing inside
  • Pack well , cool it to become hard
  • Make sure that kova is not too hot or cold, if so it looses sticky consisitency
  • Store it in an container
  • Yummy yummy kova coconut laddu is ready to serve now..
