INGREDIENTS: Cumin seeds (avalu), Mustard seeds (jeera), Kandhinuka, Salt, Green chilly paste, Groundnuts, Coriander, Curry leaves, Carrot, Onions, Cabbage


PREPARATION:

  • Take an bowl, add 4 cups of kandhinuka, 1 cup of grinded powdered peanuts powder, green chilly paste, salt, chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander, spoon of avalu, jeera, grated carrot, cabbage and mix well the contents using water into thin fluid dough
  • Take a plastic cover, grease oil on the cover
  • Place some mixed dough on it and press it thinly (like rottis, chapathis) using your fingers if not you can place one more cover on it and roll it using chapathi roller stick for ease
  • Place dosa pan or tawa on flame, apply oil, 
  • Keep rotte with cover itself on pan, after a minute, remove cover slowly
  • Roast it on both sides by applying oil
  • Take out and serve
  • Tastes good with any pickles, curd, dals..
