INGREDIENTS:  3 Cups of Biyyapu rava (raw rice semolina), 1 Cup of sago, Oil, Onions, Curry leaves, Coriander, Carrot, Salt

PREPARATION:
  • Soak raw rice semolina in curd for 1 night or 7-8 hours
  • Soak sago in water for 1 night or 7-8 hours
  • Later drain water water completely in sago
  • Mix sago, semolina in a bowl
  • Place frying pan on flame, heat 2 spoons of oil
  • Add chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander, grated carrot, pinch of salt and fry for 2 minutes
  • Add this into the sago semolina bowl
  • Make all together into idly batter
  • Take idly stand, grease oil on it,
  • Pour  batter into it
  • Steam cook for 12 minutes
  • Dish out and serve
  • Tastes good with Onion Peanut chutney
