INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Turmeric powder (pasupu), Salt, Potatoes, Dhaniya powder, Red chilly powder


PREPARATION:
  • Peel off the outer layer of potatoes
  • Cut them into small pieces
  • Place kadai on flame, heat 4-5 spoons of oil in it
  • Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves and wait till they splitter
  • Now add cut potatoes into it
  • Add pinch of salt, turmeric powder and cook by closing the lid till soft
  • Check out in middle by opening the lid and mixing once
  • Once alu is cooked, add little dhaniya powder, red chilly powder, salt and mix well
  • Finally garnish with coriander and serve ..
  • Tastes good with rice, chapathis.....
