INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Turmeric powder (pasupu), Salt, Alu, Tomato, Garlic Cloves,


PREPARATION:
  • Cut alu and tomato into small pieces
  • Place kadai on stove, heat 2-3 spoons of oil in it
  • Add avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram and wait till they splitter
  • Then add cut alu, salt, pinch of turmeric powder and close the lid and cook till soft by mixing in middle in low flame
  • Then add cut tomato and saute it till cooked
  • Finally take few jeera seeds, salt, red chilly powder, 2-3 garlic cloves and place them in a cover , Now beat them with an stone till they become soft to taste good
  • If not they can be grinded in an mixy jar
  • Add this into the kadai mix well for a while & dish out
  • Garnish with coriander if interested
  • Serves good with rice, chapathis...
