INGREDIENTS: Cooked Rice, Onions, Green Chilly, Salt, Oil, Capsicums, Jeera(cumin seeds), Coriander, Cashew, Curry leaves, Cardamom (elachi), Cinnamon (dalchina chekka), Cloves(lavangam), Jeera powder, Dhaniya powder, Peanuts (Groundnuts), Seasame (Nuvvulu)


PREPARATION:
  • Soak raw rice in water for 1/2 hour and keep cook for 3 whistles, cool it
  • Take a pan, add 3-4 spoons of ghee/oil , let it heat
  • To the pan add jeera, curry leaves, half t spoon of cardamom, cinnamon, clove powder
  • Saute it for a while
  • Now add cut green chillies, onions, capsicums, pinch of turmeric and fry
  • Cook all the ingredients by closing the lid till soft
  • Fry peanuts, seasame and cool
  • Grind it into fine powder
  • Add cooked rice, salt, fried peanuts powder, seasame powder to pan and mix well
  • Finally garnish with coriander and fried cashews
  • Capsicum rice is ready to serve now....
  • Can be served with raitha or with any kurma/gravies
