INGREDIENTS: Oil, Raw rice, Salt, Pepper corns, Jeera (cumin seeds), Curry leaves, Green chillies, Coriander, Sprouts, Turmeric, Cinnamon (dalchina chekka), Cardamom (elachi), Cloves (lavangam)

PREPARATION:
  • Clean 1 glass of rice and add 3 glasses of water to it
  • Place cooker on flame, heat 3 spoons of oil
  • Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, cut green chillies and wait till they splitter
  • Now add piece of cardamom, cinnamon, clove and fry for a while
  • Then add beaten pepper seeds (3-4), salt, pinch of turmeric
  • Now add chopped coriander, sprouts (if interested) and saute it
  • Finally add raw rice and water
  • Close the lid for 3 whistles, off flmae, cool it
  • Serve hot using ground chutney......
  • Tastes good even taken plainly also
Can add few chopped vegetables and onion if interested!!!!
