INGREDIENTS: Pongal, Onions, Plain rice flour (biyyapindi), Green chillies, salt
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl, add pongal, pinch of salt, chopped green chillies, onions, rice flour and mix it as an dough
- Sprinkle little water if required only
- Now take an plastic cover, grease oil on it
- Take the small part of dough, press it into rotte using our fingers
- If not place one more cover on it and spread it using chapathi maker stick for ease
- Now place tawa or dosa pan on flame
- Place the prepared rotte on it
- Apply oil, roast it on both sides
- Serves good using curd or pickles..
- Pongal rotte is ready to eat now
