INGREDIENTS: Pongal, Onions, Plain rice flour (biyyapindi), Green chillies, salt


PREPARATION:
  • In a bowl, add pongal, pinch of salt, chopped green chillies, onions, rice flour and mix it as an dough
  • Sprinkle little water if required only
  • Now take an plastic cover, grease oil on it
  • Take the small part of dough, press it into rotte using our fingers
  • If not place one more cover on it and spread it using chapathi maker stick for ease
  • Now place tawa or dosa pan on flame
  • Place the prepared rotte on it
  • Apply oil, roast it on both sides
  • Serves good using curd or pickles..
  • Pongal rotte is ready to eat now
