INGREDIENTS: Urad dal, Raw Rice, Salt, Cooking Soda, Water, Oil


PREPARATION:
  • Soak 1glass of urad dal and 5-6 glasses of raw rice in water for 3-5 hour
  • Grind the soaked urad dal and rice in grinder using little quantity of water, like thick batterAdd salt while grinding, take out the batter and place it in big bowl (bowl should be double the quantity of batter)
  • Leave the batter for over 1night, Add pinch of cooking soda before using
  • Now take a pan, spread dosa batter on it, apply 1spoon of oil, roast it on two sides
  • Dosa can be served with different types of chetneys ( groundnut chutney, coconut chutney, red chilly chutney, bombay chutney, alu curry, green chilly chutney )
  • Mix red chilly chetney and bombay chetney and apply on fried dosa and roast again for a minute, it tastes so yummy
  • Apply grren chilly/red chilly chetney on dosa and give topping with chopped onion and tomato, and checkout its taste
  • Apply red chilly paste, and place alu stuff in middle and serve hot with butter topping on it, its nothing but MASALA DOSA
Using the same left out batter, dosa balls or guntha ponganau or ponganalu  can be prepared
