INGREDIENTS: Raw rice (2 & 1/2 cup), Urad dal (1cup), Saggubiyam (1/2 cup), Salt, Carrot, Capsicum, Onion, Coriander, Cooking Soda, Ghee
PREPARATION:
- Soak raw rice, urad dal, saggubiyam, separately in water for around 6-7 hours
- After 6-7 hours, grind well as an thick batter, add salt while grinding
- Let this batter be aside for 8-9 hours or over 1 night, ina big bowl, batter shouls fill only half of the bowl
- Add a pinch of cooking soda before using
- Now take dosa pan, apply 1 spoon of ghee on it, pour dosa batter as pizza size thickly
- Now give grated carrot, chopped onion, chopped capsicum, cutted coriander on the top of dosa as topping, keep lid on dosa for few minutes, cook in low flame
- Once it gets roasted, take out cut into into 4halves as pizza
- Now give seasoning by sprinkling pepper & chilly flakes on it and serve
- Tastes good if served with karjur(dates) chetney, Ground nut/ peanut chutney
Using the same left out batter, dosa balls or guntha ponganau or ponganalu can be prepared
