Round cluster beans, very rich in fiber and gives good taste once cooked, this when mixed up with tomato becomes very healthier due to the vitamins in tomato, just avoid adding green chilly when cooking for kids and serve, even they likes them the most, and the seeds present in cluster beans are very tender and juicy which kids can eat happily


 INGREDIENTS: Round Cluster beans (goruchikkudu), Tomatoes, Onion, Oil, Jeera powder, Green chillies, Salt, Turmeric (pasupu)


PREPARATION:

  • Place frying pan on stove top, heat 2 spoons of oil
  • Add half t spoon of jeera powder, long cut onions, green chillies and fry till transparent
  • Add cut cluster beans and cook till soft by closing the lid
  • Add pinch of salt and turmeric while cooking
  • Open ths lid and stir in middle
  • Sprinkle little water while cooking to reduce oil 
  • Once cluster beans is soft add cut tomato and saute for a while
  • Finally garnish with coriander and serve
  • Tastes good with rice, rotis, chapathis..
