INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Maida (all purpose flour)
1/2 cup sugar powdered
½ cup vanaspathi ghee
1 tspn baking powder
¼ cup curd/milk (optional)
½ cup mixed nuts
PREPARATION:
- Sieve maida and baking powder in a bowl
- Melt ghee and add sugar to it and mix it well
- Add miada and baking powder, curd/milk mix a little at a time
- Mix well to ensure no lumps remain
- Add in all the choped nuts and mix
- Make sure that the batter is thick and not pouring in consistency
- Preheat the oven to 140 degrees for 10 minutes
- Grease the baking sheet and spoon out the batter into small portions n the baking sheet
- Bake in the oven at 140 degrees for 20 minutes
- Make sure that the bottom of the cookies is not browned
- Cookies will become crispy as soon as they cool down
- Store them in an container
