Heres an very healthy and delicious stir fry with alu and methi , especially for kids who doesn't take leafy fry directly, can like it easily because of the combination, they may not take methi when cooked alone, but try out this recepie not only for kids even elders likes it easily


INGREDIENTS: Alu, Menthikura (Fenu greek leaves), Oil, Asafortida (inguva), Onion, Ginger garlic paste, Jeera powder  (cumin seeds / jilakara), Red chilly powder, Dhaniya powder (coriander powder), Salt, Garam masala,


PREPARATION:

  • Soak fenu greek leaves in water for 10 minutes by adding table spoon of sugar and salt 
  • Now place frying pan on flame, heat 2 spoons of oil
  • Add t spoon of jeera powder, asafoetida, chopped onions,  ginger garlic paste and fry
  • Now add red chilly powder, dhaniya powder, salt and mix well
  • Then add chopped methi leaves and cook till soft or 5 minutes
  • Now add peeled, boiled, mashed alu into it and mix well
  • Saute it for few minutes again by adding pinch of garam masala at last
  • Dish out and serve
  • Tastes good with rice, chapathis..
  • Including yogurt (curd), and some pickle make your dinner more delicious
