INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Green chillies, Onions, Turmeric powder (pasupu)Okra (bendakaya/ladies finger), Tamarind pulp, Corn flour


PREPARATION:
  • Take a kadai, heat 3-4 spoons of oil in it, add Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu)Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves and fry
  • Now add cut onions, green chilly, bendi, salt, turmeric powder and fry till bendi/okra cooks
  • Then add tamarind pulp, little water and boil for few minutes
  • Fianlly add two spoons diluted corn flour for thickness and dish out
  • Garnish with coriander
  • Goes with rice..
Interested people can add little jaggery (bellam) for taste (sweet ness)
