INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu)Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Green chillies, Onions, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Carrot, salt, Water, Peas, Bombay rava (Yupma rava/semolina), Turmeric powder (pasupu), Dhaniya powder, Rasam powder


PREPARATION:
  • Take kadai, heat 4-5 spoons of oil in it, add avalu once they splutter, then add jeera, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves, and fry
  • Now add onion pieces, potato pieces, carrot pieces, peas, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder and fry till vegetables gets cooked
  • Now add chopped tomato, dhaniya powder, pinch of rasam powder and saute it
  • Then add 3glasses of water (for 1glass of rava) and close the lid till water gets boiled
  • Then keep in low flame and start adding 1 glass of rava slowly and stir simultaneously close the lid till cooked
  • Finally dish out and add lemon if required
  • Garnish with coriander, spring onions and Serve
Try ading half cup of fried semiya (vermicelli) along with rava, it tastes good
