PREPARATION:
- Take kadai, heat 4-5 spoons of oil in it, add avalu once they splutter, then add jeera, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves, and fry
- Now add onion pieces, potato pieces, carrot pieces, peas, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder and fry till vegetables gets cooked
- Now add chopped tomato, dhaniya powder, pinch of rasam powder and saute it
- Then add 3glasses of water (for 1glass of rava) and close the lid till water gets boiled
- Then keep in low flame and start adding 1 glass of rava slowly and stir simultaneously close the lid till cooked
- Finally dish out and add lemon if required
- Garnish with coriander, spring onions and Serve
Try ading half cup of fried semiya (vermicelli) along with rava, it tastes good
