INGREDIENTS: Oil, Avalu (mustard seeds), Jeera (cumin seeds), Urad dal (vudhipappu), Bengal gram (senagaballu), Curry leaves, Coriander, Green chillies, Onions, Thick Rice Flakes (atukulu), Salt, Groundnuts(penuts), Spring Onions, Tamarind pulp, Garlic pieces, Red chillies


PREPARATION:
  • Soak rice flakes in water for 5-10 minutes till soft, then drian out water completely
  • Place kadai, heat 5-6 spoons of oil add popu, avalu, jeera, urad dal, bengal gram, curry leaves, peanuts and fry till they splutter
  • Then add cut onions, green chillies and fry
  • Now add tamarind pulp/juice, salt and saute it
  • Now add rice flakes by draining water completely and mix well all the ingredients
  • Finally add grinded ground nuts, garlic, red chilly, powder and mix (if interested)
  • Garnish with coriander, spring onion
  • Serve hot
Instead of tamarind pulp, You can replace lemon juice, but add it finally after offing the flame
